Subsidies will be provided to companies that build or expand factories, research institutes, etc. in Yaita City.
If the total acquisition price of land, buildings, and depreciable assets related to the target facility exceeds 100 million yen, the amount equivalent to the fixed asset tax levied on it will be subsidized for three years after the start of operation.

Subsidies will be provided to companies that lease land or buildings of a certain size or more in order to operate factories, research institutes, etc. in Yaita City.(Land of 3,000 square meters or more or building of 1,000 square meters or more)
After the start of operation of the target facility, 15% or 7.5% of the rent of land and buildings related to the target facility will be subsidized for three years.(Subsidy rates vary depending on the location.)

A subsidy equivalent to the real estate acquisition tax on land and buildings is available to companies establishing a new plant, etc., in the prefecture. Also, under certain conditions, this subsidy can be applied to production equipment. Moreover,the subsidy requirements have been relaxed for companies strengthening their production systems and food-related companies. (Maximum amount: 3 billion yen)

Tochigi Prefecture promotes the "Food Valley Tochigi" project. The project aims to make Tochigi a vibrant hub for the food industries through the local economic development under the theme of "food."

Yaita City is located in the northern part of the Kanto region.It is approximately 30 km north of Utsunomiya, the capital of Tochigi Prefecture, approximately 140 km from Tokyo, and approximately 550 km from Osaka.
It takes about 80 minutes to get from Yaita to Tokyo using the Tohoku Shinkansen and JR Utsunomiya Line, or about 90 minutes by car using the Tohoku Expressway.
If you are traveling by car, it will take approximately 110 minutes to reach Ibaraki Port using National Route 4 and the Kita-Kanto Expressway, or if you are traveling to Osaka, you will use the Ken-O Expressway instead of going through Tokyo.
