Government Support
The Japanese government sets up Invest Japan Offices in relevant ministries and agencies to respond to individual inquiries from foreign companies.
Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Support
As the first of its kind in Japan, the Center unifies the procedures for foreign companies and start-ups to complete establishment of a business. Through face-to-face service provided by staff members or experts who are familiar with administrative procedures, the center helps facilitate the prompt completion of various filing procedures required for company establishment and starting operations, including those for certification of articles of incorporation, company registration, taxes, pension/social insurance, and immigration. In response to a company’s requests, the center also provide multilingual interpretation and translation services.
