Aug 21, 2017
Torrecid SA is a leading chemical solutions maker based in Spain. Since its establishment in 1963, they have succeeded in developing ink that can be digitally printed on tiles for the first time in the world and, as a leading company in its industry, have offered products and services (in terms of solutions and trends) for the ceramic, glass, plastic and paint industries.
The company has a production and sales base in 28 countries worldwide with more than 3,000 employees. They have been expanding their business internationally as a global company for customers in more than 130 countries.
The company established a Japanese branch in Nagoya, Aichi, known as one of Japan’s leading ceramics regions, to start sales in the country. Torrecid SA aims to expand its market in Japan by providing services rooted in the region.
For the establishment of the branch office in Japan, JETRO's Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided temporary office space in Nagoya, referral to municipalities and offered information on incentives.
