蒲鉾（かまぼこ）板メーカーとして1961年に創業。「安全・安心」をモットーに、蒲鉾をおいしく召し上がって頂ける板づくりを目指しています。
大分県日田市は林業の町です。500年前から木を植え、育て、伐って、活用するサイクルが確立しており、日田の林業は無駄なく循環しています。
その日田杉を使い、職人の技術と匠の技がひとつになり「木のストロー・木のコップ：itaTTe」が完成しました。
Established in 1961 as a kamaboko (fish cake) base-board manufacturer. With "safety and security" as our motto, we aim to produce boards that enable our customers to enjoy tasty kamaboko. Hita City in Oita Prefecture is a town of forestry, where a cycle of planting, growing, cutting, and utilizing trees has been established for 500 years, and the forestry industry in Hita is a cycle without waste.
Using these Hita sugi cedars, craftsmen and artisans have combined their skills and techniques to create "wooden straws and wooden cups: itaTTe".

日本で昔から使われている『薄板』で作ったストロー。木材をスライスして無駄なく使っています。
厚さ0.15mmの杉の薄板を丁寧に巻き上げて、コーティング。
木目が美しく優しい表情に仕上げたタイプと、丈夫で口当たり抜群な漆仕上げをご用意。漆は黒・紅の2色展開で、洗って繰り返し使えます。

Straws made of "thin plates" used in Japan for a long time. The wood is sliced and used without waste.
A 0.15mm-thick cedar sheet is carefully rolled up and coated.
Two types are available: one with a beautiful wood grain and gentle look, and the other with a durable lacquer finish that feels great in the mouth. The lacquer comes in two colors, black and red, and can be washed and used repeatedly.

A cup made of rolled up cedar "thin plates". Using 0.3 to 0.5mm thin plates, it is extremely light, sharp, and stylish. It is also characterized by the fine bubbles that form when beer or other carbonated beverages are poured into it. The double-layered cup with high heat- and cold-retaining effects is available in natural wood grain and two luxurious lacquer finishes of black and red. A wide range of sizes are available, allowing you to choose the size that best suits your needs. This product is also recommended as a gift.
