鉄鉢(てっぱち)とは、僧が托鉢の時に用いる鉄製の黒い鉢のことで、それを模して作った竹かごです。アクセントに黒く染色したひごを使って編んでいます。底の編み方は、網代編み（あじろあみ）です。みかんなどのフルーツやお菓子を入れたり、編み目が綺麗なのでインテリアとして壁に飾るのも良いのではないでしょうか。
