水酸化カリウム液などのアルカリ性の電解液に電力を投入し、水を電気分解してグリーン水素を生成する据え置き型・産業用の大型（受給電力1M-10MWクラス）水素製造装置を開発している。その化学反応の触媒に、高価な貴金属を使わずに、自社で独自開発したセラミック系の触媒を使い、電極構造を工夫することで大電流の投入を可能とし、耐久性と反応効率とを高めている。それにより、装置コストおよび水素製造コストの低減を狙っている。EU-Japan Green Transition（2025-26）公式参加企業で、日本企業とのR&D、製造、技術ライセンス、投資を協業テーマとして明示している。

Stargate Hydrogen is developing a stationary, large scale industrial hydrogen production system (with a power input capacity in the 1-10 MW class) that generates hydrogen by supplying electricity to an alkaline electrolyte, such as potassium hydroxide solution, to electrolyze water. For the catalytic reactions involved in this process, the system employs proprietary ceramic based catalysts developed in house, eliminating the need for costly precious metals. By optimizing the electrode structure, the system enables the application of high current densities, thereby enhancing both durability and reaction efficiency. Through these technological advances, the company aims to reduce both equipment costs and hydrogen production costs. The company is an official participating organization in the EU Japan Green Transition (2025-26) framework and looking for R&D collaboration, manufacturing cooperation, technology licensing, and investment with Japanese companies as key areas for partnership.
