Invest Japan Symposium in London

On September 26th, JETRO co-organized an Invest Japan symposium, entitled "Creating Value Through Innovation", with Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), in London.
Business leaders representing British firms successful in Japan shared their views on Japan as an investment destination. The main points of the discussion may be summarized as follows:
- Any well-managed company offering quality products and services is guaranteed success in the Japanese market.
- Japan's business arena does not have any more restrictions than that of any other developed nation. Further, compliance with regulations paves a smoother road to success.
- Amid growing interest in China and India as investment destinations, Japan remains a sound option, for its market potential and stability.
