| Summay of notice | ⑴ Classification of the products to be procured : 14 ⑵ Nature and quantity of the products to be purchased : Extended Infrastructure System for Data Exploitation Platform 1 Set ⑶ Type of the procurement : products to be purchased ⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement : Extended Infrastructure System for Data Exploitation Platform (hereinafter referred to as "Extended System") to be introduced consists of general-purpose compute nodes, AI accelerator-equipped compute nodes, storage, interconnect (network), and software. (A) Requirements for general-purpose compute nodes Must consist of multiple nodes. Each node must have multiple CPU cores. (B) Requirements for AI accelerator-equipped compute nodes Must consist of multiple nodes. Each node must have multiple CPU cores. Each node must be equipped with accelerators. (C) Requirements for storage Storage consists of parallel file systems and object storage. (C-1) Parallel File System Parallel file systems must be accessible at high speed and with low latency from general-purpose compute nodes and accelerator-equipped compute nodes. (D) Interconnect Connect the general-purpose compute nodes, accelerator-equipped compute nodes, and storage at high speed and low latency to each other. The interconnect can be divided, controlled, and managed into logical subnetworks by user and user group units. The interconnect must be connected to the network that connects to the Internet and mdx, the Platform for the Data-Driven Future deployed at University of Tokyo. (E) Software The software consists of compute node software, cloud-linked node software, user portal, system portal, data integration module. (E-1) Compute node software Provide the functionality of simultaneously accommodating multiple virtual machines or containers. (E-2) Cloud-linkednode software Provide the functionality of simultaneously accommodating multiple virtual machines or containers. These virtual machines or containers must be operated on cloud infrastructure serviced by cloud vendors. (E-3) User portal Must provide a set of web interface that allows to create, start, stop, and delete virtual machine or container based on the corresponding templates. (E-4) System portal Must provide the functionality that allows to manage and check the status of operation and usage on the above user portal. Must provide the administration functionality of projects which users submit.
