Shochu tasting event in Geneva

In the framework of its export promotion activities, JETRO Geneva organizes a unique shochu tasting event in Geneva.
 
Shochu is a traditional Japanese drink that appeared around the 16th century on the island of Kyushu in the south of the archipelago.
It is an alcoholic drink, distilled from a fermented must with an alcohol content between 25% and 43%.
Shochu can be made from rice, sweet potato, barley, wheat, buckwheat or sugar cane.
