Helix Carbon has developed a modular electrochemical reformer that converts raw industrial waste gas into customized synthesis gas using electricity directly at the emission source. The technology enables a one step conversion process that does not require carbon capture equipment or amine based separation systems, allowing industrial facilities to utilize waste carbon dioxide more efficiently. The resulting synthesis gas can be consumed on site as an alternative feedstock and energy source or supplied to downstream manufacturers, creating additional revenue opportunities while reducing emissions. Helix Carbon adopts a hardware as a service model combined with modular deployment, enabling customers to begin with limited capital investment and expand capacity in line with operational needs. Through this approach, industrial carbon dioxide emissions can be transformed from a cost burden into a commercially valuable resource.
