Cosmoserve Spaceは、増加する宇宙デブリ問題に対応するため、自律型ロボット宇宙機を用いた衛星やデブリの軌道離脱支援技術および関連サービスの開発を進めている。自律制御や捕獲装置を備えていないデブリや、除去を前提に設計されていない衛星の捕獲を可能とするため、生体模倣型ソフトロボティクス、自律航法技術、ならびに再利用可能な二機構成の宇宙機設計を融合したアプローチを採用している。

Cosmoserve Space is addressing the growing challenge of space debris by providing Deorbit-as-a-Service through robotic spacecraft capable of capturing non-cooperative debris and unprepared satellites. The capability to capture anything in space sets us apart from existing solutions. Our solution is unique because it combines biomimetic soft robotics, autonomous spacecraft intelligence, and a reusable dual-spacecraft architecture. Our autonomous robotic spacecraft, Reviver, conducts debris removal missions through phased rendezvous using a multi-sensor optical navigation suite. Once the target debris enters the capture envelope and the relative velocity between the two spacecraft is nearly zero, our soft robotic petals gently capture the target debris. After capture is achieved, Reviver executes a controlled deorbit to safely dispose of the debris in Earth’s atmosphere.
