Business Expanding Zhaotian Agricultural Technology, a developer and manufacturer of electric agricultural machinery, has established a subsidiary in Yachimata, Chiba Prefecture

Zhaotian Agricultural Technology, founded in April 2023 in Guangdong Province, China, is a startup specializing in the development and manufacturing of electric agricultural machinery, including remotely operated small and medium-sized electric power tillers and electric brush cutters. By combining its proprietary electric control system and drive technology with high-power motors, the company enables low-power, low-cost operations such as tilling, weeding, furrowing, fertilizing, and seeding.. Its unique “Two-Mode System” allows independent control of rotation speed, ensuring stable straight-line performance even during towing on slopes. The waterproof design is another strength, enabling continuous operation regardless of weather conditions.

After exhibiting at the “Agriculture WEEK” trade show in Chiba in October 2023, the company decided to enter the Japanese market. JETRO’s Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided ongoing support for establishing its Japanese base, including recommending participation in CCPIT seminars, providing market information, arranging meetings with local governments, and facilitating business matching.

In August 2025, the company established its Japanese subsidiary, Zhaotian Co., Ltd., in Yachimata, Chiba. Moving forward, they plan to collaborate with their Japanese partner and actively expand its sales channels through participation in exhibitions and other initiatives.
