NUVVE is the first company in the world to commercially deploy technology that connects EV batteries to the power grid in a bidirectional manner, enabling both charging and discharging to help balance electricity supply and demand. NUVVE is the only company with patented technology capable of aggregating thousands of EVs, and aims to use this capability to form virtual power plants by integrating large numbers of EVs and stationary storage systems, thereby entering the electricity market.

The company also offers turnkey solutions that electrify and centrally manage fleets such as school buses and corporate vehicles, improving energy efficiency.

In Japan, NUVVE has been working with a major trading company and engaging in discussions with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to explore market opportunities. With the establishment of its Japanese subsidiary, NUVVE will strengthen its contribution to the future of renewable energy—centered on grid-connected battery aggregation—by securing talented professionals and promoting partnerships with vehicle manufacturers.
