Business Expanding TEBON, which provides production management systems and related solutions for the manufacturing industry, has established a Japanese subsidiary in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture

TEBON utilizes real-time data collected from IoT inspection devices installed on production lines to perform digital Statistical Process Control (SPC). Abnormalities and manufacturing variations are extracted from these data and analyzed using Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). The results are and fed back into product design by incorporating these variations into design margins through the method of Six Sigma design (aiming for a defect rate as low as 3.4 per million opportunities). TEBON provides an advanced quality management system that integrates upstream quality design with real-time process control.

This system complies with the automotive industry quality standard IATF 16949 and has already been implemented by over 200 companies in China, including mid-sized manufacturers.

TEBON established its Japanese subsidiary, Omori FMEA Applied Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, a major hub of Japan’s manufacturing industry, particularly in the automotive sector.

Upon the establishment of its Japanese subsidiary, JETRO’s Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC), in collaboration with JETRO Nagoya, provided support including access to IBSC facilities, consultation on company registration and taxation, provision of market, regulatory, and institutional information, introduction to real estate properties, and assistance with recruitment.
