Business ExpandingSingapore-based agritech company Arianetech has established a business base for its Japanese subsidiary

Arianetech is a Singaporean company that provides environmental control technologies for smart agriculture. It has opened an R&D center and showroom within Chiba University, launching its full-scale expansion into the Japanese market.

Founded in Singapore in 2001, Arianetech has focused on agricultural technologies aimed at revolutionizing urban food production. In April 2025, the company established a business base for its Japanese subsidiary within Chiba University in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture. Through product demonstrations and field research, it is working to develop and promote technologies tailored to the Japanese market. To address the challenges faced by plant factory operators in Japan, Arianetech aims to provide solutions that enable cost reduction and the production of high-value crops. Moving forward, the company plans to collaborate with research institutions and industry organizations to build a sustainable and highly productive next-generation agricultural model.

In establishing its Japanese subsidiary, JETRO’s Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) arranged meetings with local governments, facilitated business matching through those municipalities, and provided information on subsidies, regulations, and local talent recruitment.
