Business Expanding "Dusit Thani Kyoto" opens; a flagship luxury hotel with the fusion of Thai and Japanese cultures and hospitality

The Dusit Thani International group as a whole operates a hotel and resort business as well as hospitality education, food manufacturing, real estate development, and on-demand hospitality services, mainly in Southeast Asia, and also operates hospitality vocational schools in Thailand and the Philippines. In 2017, the company established its Japanese subsidiary, D&J Co., Ltd., and in June 2023, with the concept of integrating Thai and Japanese cultures, it opened ASAI Kyoto Shijo as its first hotel to expand into Japan. Then, in September 2023, it opened Dusit Thani Kyoto under the Dusit Thani brand, placing emphasis on sustainability and hospitality, offering guests a luxurious stay in terms of food, interior design, and spa facilities, while also providing environmentally friendly services. The company plans to open hotels in other prefectures following Kyoto in the future.
