Business Expanding Roby, a company providing digital transformation solutions for buildings/offices, Now Fully Active in Japan

Roby (registered name: Imageous Inc.) offers Roby, an API hub (workplace platform) for companies transitioning to smart buildings/smart offices. By integrating their own solutions with those of their partners, Roby’s client companies can add practical features to their existing buildings, such as reducing energy costs, contributing to carbon neutrality, and predictive maintenance of building facilities.

For building owners, it is time-consuming and labor-intensive to determine the cost and timeframe for implementing new real estate-related technology, and for technology providers on the other hand, it is a challenge to connect to different devices and sensors in each building. As Roby absorbs the complexity of connecting to the building, while the new technology provider company provides a leveled and simple API, Roby succeeded in greatly reducing the hurdles for both the building owners and technology providers in introducing new real estate technology.

Roby's software is designed to operate on the client company's existing IT infrastructure, making it easy to facilitate office DX. Specifically, the software supports HVAC and lighting system operation using personal terminals, easy scheduling of meetings and rooms, automated visitor registration, and help desk answering support, contributing to operational efficiency and contactless response.

Roby (registered name: Imageous Inc.), founded in 2016 in Seattle, Washington, USA, established Imageous Japan KK in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, in 2017, and has recently hired Japanese staff to begin full-scale activities.
