Business Expanding RATTUNDE AG, a German company that manufactures cutting and processing machines, establishes a Japanese subsidiary in Aichi Prefecture

RATTUNDE AG is a German cutting machine manufacturer established in 1990. Fully automated high-speed cutting system “ACS” developed by the company cuts materials such as round bars, square pipes and round pipes of iron, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, etc. to the specified dimensions, and carries out end chamfering and other processing work. This is a fully automated manufacturing and processing system from conveyance of materials to boxing of products.

In November 2020, RATTUNDE AG established a Japanese subsidiary in Aichi Prefecture in order to further expand its sales channels and strengthen its customer support system in Japan.

To assist with establishing RATTUNDE’s Japanese base, JETRO's Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided consultations (registration, visas), introduced service providers (judicial scriveners, administrative scriveners, and tax accountants), and provided information on subsidies and incentives.
