Recorded Future is a US cyber security solution provider that offers threat intelligence services using machine learning technology.
In addition to data made public on the web, Recorded Future analyzes corporate information leaked to the “dark web” that cannot be traced from search engines, providing information services that can respond to potential threats.
The combination of original machine learning utilizing AI as well as rule-based expert system models "predict" future risks so that corporate customers can quickly detect threats and prevent damage from cyber attacks before they occur. By keeping regular tabs on the activities of attackers, customers can also make the most of security measures and risk management.
Recorded Future’s services are also expected to contribute to the construction of secure next-generation IT infrastructure that is being advocated by the Japanese government.
The company established Recorded Future Japan, Inc. in July 2018 with the aim of developing new customers and encouraging understanding of the need to implement cybersecurity systems in the Japanese market.
To assist with the establishment of the company’s base in Japan, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided temporary office space and introduced a recruitment agency.
