is a company that manufactures, sells and repairs industrial valves* with headquarters, manufacturing and research and development facilities in Houston, Texas, USA. The company manufactures “zero-leakage”, high-performance isolation valve solutions and are used in plants where safety and durability are required, such as for the power generation, mineral and mining, oil, gas, chemical processing, paper and pulp industries.
* Equipment that reduces the occurrence of noise, vibration, and piping damage by controlling the direction, amount and pressure of gas or liquid flow.
Founded in 1987 and employing more than 500 people, ValvTechnologies is well-positioned to serve customers around the world with its sales offices around the world, a global distribution network, localized authorized repair centers.
With transactions being conducted with a large Japanese company, in February 2018 it established its strategic overseas office in Tokyo, ValvTechnologies KK, to strengthen support for existing customers in Japan and to develop new customers.
To assist with the establishment of the company's base in Japan, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided consultation (on registration, tax and labor matters) and information on market overview.
