Wahoo Fitness, LLC is a company headquartered in Atlanta, that develops, manufactures and sells equipment such as wireless sensors and smart indoor trainers for running, cycling and general fitness. The company was established in 2009. Its wireless sensors and applications can also connect to mobile terminals.

Wahoo Fitness provides cycle trainers for indoor training and cycle computers that can display and share running data. This includes cycle sensors for measuring data for wireless transmission and heart rate monitors for runners. Its products are also able to connect to smartphones and a wide range of fitness devices to accommodate more than 110 training applications, including those of other companies. The company also provides its own application, "WAHOO FITNESS", which captures data and maximizes the effects of workouts. Both amateurs and professionals are able to use its products. 

The company established Wahoo Fitness Japan Co., Ltd. in Tokyo in June 2018 to expand its customer base in Japan.

Collaboration has already been underway with Japanese companies. For example, in September 2016, the company made it possible to link the heart rate activity data of its "WAHOO FITNESS" application with that of "Lyfe It" produced by Panasonic Consumer Marketing Co., Ltd., which automatically records the rhythm of a person’s daily life and manages goals. In September 2018, the company's cycle computer was adopted at a pedaling monitor system of Pioneer Corporation.

To assist with the establishment of the company’s base in Japan, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided information (on market overview and regulations) and referred to local service providers (recruitment agency and bank).
