Established in 1972, Ziehm Imaging GmbH is specialized in the development and manufacture of mobile c-arms (surgical X-ray equipment). It is headquartered in Nuremburg, Germany and has overseas offices in the USA, Italy, France, Finland, Brazil, China (Guangzhou, Shanghai) and Singapore.

The company's mobile X-ray based imaging solutions’ innovative technologies make it possible to view X-ray image during a surgical operation such as spine surgery, orthopedics, traumatology, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, cardiology, cardiac surgery and further clinical applications.

In close collaboration with universities, research institutes and hospitals, they are developing new products as they invest more than fifteen percent of turnover. Today, eighty percent of the product portfolio is younger than three years old.

The company established Ziehm Imaging Japan Co., Ltd. in Tokyo to further expand its business in Japan.

To assist with the establishment of the company's base in Japan, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided consultation on registration and referrals to local service providers (accounting firm, real estate agency and recruitment agency).
