SVI Public Co., Ltd is a leading electronic manufacturing service (EMS) provider founded in 1985 which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The company is engaged in the design and development, print circuit board assembly and final assembly of high end electronic system build equipment for the industrial, medical, automobile and public transportation fields. It’s wide business field covers basic mounting, final assembling, and product lifecycle management (PLM) services. It is actively expanding overseas. In addition to its Thai headquarters, it has manufacturing bases in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Cambodia, sales support bases in Scandinavia, Germany, France and Austria, design bases in Austria and Slovenia.

SVI Public has been exporting the contracted manufactured products for over 10 years to Japan and SVI Japan Co., Ltd. was established in Tokyo to further expand business in May 2018. Through the newly established Japanese corporation, it will cultivate new customers and after-sales services for the company's products while also developing new parts suppliers.

For the establishment of its Japanese base, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided consultation on registration, taxation and labor matters; introductions of service providers (administrative scrivener’s office, certified public tax accountant office, social insurance labor consultant office, recruitment agency and real estate agency); and market information.
