Agriculture x Renewable Energy, powered by global talent.
Farmdo Group was founded in 1994 in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. Guided by our philosophy of "supporting agriculture and contributing to improving farmers' income," we operate a range of businesses centered on agricultural support and renewable energy. Our activities include operating stores for fresh agricultural products, developing renewable energy projects such as agrivoltaics (solar sharing), and expanding solar power generation projects overseas. Through these diverse initiatives, we contribute to the sustainable development of regional communities and agriculture. Today, our workforce includes employees from diverse backgrounds such as Spain, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. These international team members play active roles in overseas project development and engineering positions. We welcome highly skilled international professionals to join our team, particularly in roles such as supporting Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) application procedures within our Overseas Business Division and working as electrical engineers involved in the construction and operation of renewable energy power plants. Our organization offers opportunities to collaborate with partner companies and institutions around the world while contributing to international projects. Through hands-on work, employees will gain knowledge of Japan's renewable energy industry and project management practices. Over time, we expect them to grow into key professionals who can lead overseas business development and manage international projects. Together with talented people from diverse backgrounds, we strive to create a more sustainable society.

Farmdo Group was established in 1994 in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, and has since developed its business with a focus on supporting agriculture and contributing to local communities.
Today, we collaborate with approximately 4,000 contracted farmers and operate 36 stores for fresh agricultural products across Japan. In addition, we conduct agricultural production at 108 Solar Farm sites (agrivoltaics projects), operate 255 solar and wind power plants across Japan, and manage 10 renewable energy power plants overseas. We also work with more than 500 landowners who provide land for solar power projects, contributing to improving farmers' income and promoting effective land use.
Japan's food self-sufficiency rate remains relatively low at around 38%, while the number of farmers continues to deline each year. In response to these challenges, Farmdo Group focuses on promoting sustainable agriculture and renewable energy. In particular, we are advancing agrivoltaics, which enables both agricultural production and solar power generation on the same land, helping to utilize underused farmland while addressing energy challenges.
By leveraging the expertise and know-how we have accumulated over the years, we aim to further expand our business both in Japan and internationally, while continuing to contribute to the sustainable development of local communities.
