We are planning to open a luxury resort hotel in Shiobara, Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture in the winter of 2022, and are considering hiring foreigners with sensibilities different from Japanese. Our hotel is targeting Asian foreign guests, so we plan to provide facilities and services that foreigners want. Managers are required to have a different approach from conventional hotels in all aspects, such as attracting customers, promotion, customer service, and management.

As for our company, we have hired more than 100 foreign employees through our affiliates since 2007. We are proactive in recruiting foreigners, and many foreigners are working at the core of the company. After being hired, you will be assigned to Shiobara as a manager after completing a training period at the Takasaki head office.

At Shiobara Garden Hotel, we are working on labor saving, mechanization, and IT, and are devising various ways to increase the productivity of each employee. We support people who actively take on new challenges even if they have no experience in the hotel industry.

We mainly invest in city hotels and resort hotels. City hotels have relatively high occupancy rates and low risk as they are supported by a diverse range of customers. On the other hand, it has the characteristic of low yield. Resort hotels, on the other hand, are highly seasonal and their earnings fluctuate greatly. But it is susceptible to restrictions occured due to infectious diseases, such as Covid-19. The risk is high, but the yield is often high.

Hotel Sun in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture is a city hotel, and is being known as the first unmanned hotel in Takasaki City because of its remote check-in system and smart keys.

At the Shiobara Garden Hotel, which will open this winter, we are planning to minimize the risk as a resort hotel by cutting labor costs as much as possible and actively investing in IT instead.
