| Summay of notice | ⑴ Classification of the products to be procured : 14 ⑵ Nature and quantity of the products to be rent : Computer System for Information Technology and Media Center 1 Set ⑶ Type of the procurement : Rent ⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement : A computer system in Kagawa University is used to provide our staffs and students with several services for academic research, high-quality education, and contribution for a community, and infrastructure of the university. The computer system must be required with the capability of large scale and high performance computing, the multi functionality due to applications software, the high reliability, the stability, the extensibility of the system, and the advance in information technology.The computer system consists of the structure of private cloud, Virtual Server, Support System for education and research, Support System for academic staff, Service for Operations support. A The Hybrid cloud server infrastructure A private cloud server platform will be constructed for purposes such as BCP countermeasures, consolidation of server resources on campus, and reduction of operation management man-hours. B Virtual Server For the guest OS already built on the university's virtual server infrastructure, migrate to a new environment or build a new one. C Support System for education and research The purpose is to update the client PCs installed in the classrooms of the four campuses and to introduce classroom operation support systems (reservations, auxiliary AV equipment, and educational software). D Support System for academic staff The purpose is to improve the infrastructure for computerization of office work and to promote the efficiency and rationalization of office work for education and research.
