| Summay of notice | ⑴ Classification of the products to be procured : 14 ⑵ Nature and quantity of the products to be rent : Total Hospital Information System 1 Set ⑶ Type of the procurement : Rent ⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement : A Should support the hospital management and the clinical works in Kagoshima University hospital. It should also have full assurance of data security and protection as a hospital information system. B Should consist of the business system and the information system. The business system should consist of ordering system (diagnosis, prescription, injection, clinical laboratory examination, radiology examination, operation, nursing, diet, blood transfusion, rehabilitation, etc.), electronic patient medical record, and hospital management system (hospital administration, physical distribution). The information system should have highly-developed search and analysis function for hospital management analysis or medical examination and treatment support system. C Should introduce new functions for critical care wards and emergency outpatient services as critical care systems. Additionally, connect with medical equipment in intensive care unit, emergency wards, and outpatient services ; and incorporate patient biometric information. D Should introduce a dental electronic chart system. E Should connect with other existing departmental system, i.e. pharmacy, laboratory, surgical center, radiology, nursing and blood transfusion department via the hospital network. The system should be the Standardized system using TCP/IP, DICOM format as the connecting protocol. It should also have full assurance of data security and protection for a regional health information exchange and remote connection. F Should introduce a brought-in image management system. G Should introduce a new system for guiding outpatients ; and allow for the calling out of outpatients from each clinical department with the unique number, as well as the calling out of patients at the examination department, radiology department, and accounting (including automatic payment machines) with the same number. H Should update the existing hospital network systems in wards B and C, and introduce a newly built hospital network system in ward A. I Should connect with the system for the work of the every department and the medical equipments which are working on the existing network systems. J Should provide comfortable operation environment with uniform interface using multi-windows and GUI. Every function of the system should operate on the common database in the system and thus effectively reduce the man power of inputting data. In the ward, patient information can be input or view by personal digital assistant at the bedside. K Should have enough computing power to quickly process the transactions for each work situation in the hospital, and must provide automatic continuous operation for 24 hours. It is expected that the system is supported by good maintenance which allow a quick recovery from the failure with minimum interruption of the operation. When the trouble occurs, the system should be smoothly recovered and system down trouble should be minimized.
