B The bed is to have slope andheight adjustment features, as well as seated posture, back raising,and knee-raising mechanisms required for medical procedures and early ambulation. C Side rails as well as head andfoot boards are to be made of an easy-to-sanitize material. D For emergency use, the bed canbe flattened using a single operation. E It is to be equipped withcasters.
