Summay of notice | ⑴ Classification of the products to be procured : 14 ⑵ Nature and quantity of the products to be rent : High Performance Molecular Simulator 1 Set ⑶ Type of the procurement : Rent ⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement : A Outline of Basic Demand Requirement a The product is a parallel computing system that total double-precision computational performance in the instruction set of SIMD operation instructions or less of 256 bit width (hereinafter referred to as the total computational performance) is 9.5 PFLOPS or more ; the total computational performance of the CPU, excluding the GPU, must be 7.5 PFLOPS or more. b Non-GPU compute nodes should have the same type of CPU and have at least 256 GB of memory per node and at least 1 TB of memory per node. c The GPU-equipped compute nodes must have the same type of CPU and at least 256 GB of memory per node, and the ratio of the number of CPUs to the number of GPUs must be 1 : 8. d Interactive nodes shall have four nodes with the same configuration of CPUs as the compute nodes without GPU and 256 GB or more of memory per node, and shall be connected to the campus network via 10 GbE. e The system must be equipped with the necessary servers for operation, such as a job queuing system management server. f The total amount of external disk storage is 8 PB or more. g The virtual host cluster shall have hardware virtualization support capabilities and shall be equipped with at least 16 nodes of a single type with at least 16 cores per node, and shall be connected to the campus network via 10 GbE. The virtual host cluster shall be equipped with a minimum of 20 TB of independent external magnetic disks for the virtual host cluster. h It must be equipped with an interconnect device that connects each device other than the virtual host cluster at 100 Gbps or higher. i The UPS must be able to keep the computing nodes running for at least 1 second and the rest of the computer equipment running for at least 10 minutes. j The system supports FORTRAN, C and C++ programming environments for parallel computation and library programs for general numerical purposes. k The operating system is based on UNIX or LINUX. l The product must have enough ability of cooling with cooling devices. m The system is highly reliable. Applicants for the procurement are requested to provide reliable support and maintenance services.
