The system consists of software and ardware that provides library transaction processing system and library information service system. B The system is sufficiently secure over the campus-wide network (TAINS), and on the high-speed, highly reliable and stable networked environment. C The data on the current system should be perfectly available on the new system. D The system provides superior operations, functions and performances than those of the current system, and facilitates many kinds of library services. E The system provides web services using the latest technology for library user. F The system has compatibility with the NACSIS CAT/ILL system of the National Institute of Informatics (NII). The system is updated to match changing or upgrading of the NII system. G The system is able to connect to the other Tohoku University Information systems such as "Integrated Electronic Authentication System of Tohoku University" and share the data with them. H The system is capable for 24 hours at a day, and is full supported in order to prevent troubles or recover quickly when trouble happens. I The system is sufficiently compact and energy saving. And it also reduces the cost for operations and managements.
