| Summay of notice | ⑴ Classification of the Products to be procured : 18 ⑵ Nature and quantity of the Products to be purchased : 17 DC electric locomotives. ⑶ Type of procurement : Purchase ⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement : A These new DC electric locomotives are developed for replacement of "Type EF64", the old ones. These new locomotives should enable us to operate them safely and stably, and to reduce their inspection and repairment. Reduction of the environment load is also required. B We operate these new locomotives all DC feeding system sections which we have railway business licenses and other railway companies operate them sections they authorized. The gauge of tracks is 1,067mm. C Maximum traction load shall be more than 1,300t. D Maximum running speed shall be 110km/h, and the design maximum speed shall be 120km/h. E The brake system is automatic electromagnetic air brake. Use dynamic braking or regeneration braking together.
