| Summay of notice | ⑴ Official in charge of disbursement of the procuring entity : Hideki Sugaya, Contract Officer, Director of Accounts Department, Headquarters Maizuru District, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. ⑵ Classification of the products to be procured : 3 ⑶ Nature and quantity of the products to be purchased : Epoxy resin zinc-rich primer for vessels, and other 9 items ⑷ Delivery period : 28 March 2019 ⑸ Delivery place : As in the tender documentation. ⑹ Qualification for participating in the tendering procedures : Suppliers eligible for participating in the proposed tender are those who shall : ① Not come under Article 70 of the Cabinet Order concerning the Budget, Auditing and Accounting. Furthermore, minors, Person under Conservatorship, or Person under Assistance, that obtained the consent necessary for concluding a contract may be applicable under cases of special reasons within the said clause. ② Not come under Article 71 of the Cabinet Order concerning the Budget, Auditing and Accounting. ③ Have Grade A, B or C in terms of the qualification for "sale of product" by Ministry of Defense (Single qualification for every ministry and agency) in Kinki region in the fiscal years 2016, 2017 and 2018. ④ Those who have testing equipment and personnel available in Japan at an inspection of procurement goods conducted by a contracting officer in charge. ⑤ Be not under suspension of nomination, based on the procedure of acquisition of defense equipment and services, issued by Director General for Health and Medicine, Director General, Bureau of Defense Policy, Commissioner, Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency or Chief of Staff, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. ⑥ Do not intend to make a contract with the Ministry of Defense on selling, buying or producing the similar items to those who are under suspension of nomination stated above while having capital or personal relationship with them. ⑦ Those who are admitted to have justifiable reasons by the official in charge of the suspension of the nomination shall be exempted from these qualifications stated above. ⑺ Time limit of tender : 16 : 45, 12 February 2019 ⑻ Contact point for the notice : Takahiko Kimura, Contract section, Contract Division Accounts Department Headquarters Maizuru District, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, 1190 Amarubeshimo, Maizuru-city, Kyoto, 625-0087, Japan, TEL : 0773-62-2250 ext. 2253 |
