In recent years, food service companies have been expanding their take-out and delivery menus and services, and some of the major players have already responded to the lifestyle changes resulting from the establishment of telecommuting by offering more than 30% of their sales in this area. In preparation for After Corona, the food service industry is flexibly responding to this lifestyle change by developing take-out and delivery menus, developing side dishes and delicatessen menus exclusively for home nesting consumption and petit luxury, and establishing ghost restaurants in urban areas. In addition, the expansion of services beyond in-store dining is expected to accelerate in the future. In response to this trend, Takeout & Delivery Show will be held for the first time as a specialized exhibition to propose menus and services for takeout and delicatessen, which are expected to be increasingly introduced not only by food service companies but also by bakeries and sweets stores.
