Support From Day 0: Co-Founder Matching and Company Building until Investment
Antler is not an accelerator, but an investor from Day Zero. Antler operates Cohort programs in 25 cities across 20 countries, and their program is operated for 10 weeks. The program structure consists of team-building, business ideation, mentoring and creating business plans. At the end of the program, startups can pitch to Antler for funding.
One of the unique aspects of cohort program is the focus on people and co-founder matching. Research has shown that startup with co-founders can achieve unicorn status more quickly than solo-founder startups. To support participants in finding the right co-founder(s), Antler offers team building activities like the "Spaghetti Tower Challenge," as well as classes with experienced serial entrepreneurs, legal and HR experts, and more.

Once teams are formed, Antler helps to refine their business ideas and build up their companies with the help of other experts. Each morning, the Antler team, including Ryo, provides mentoring to the cohort teams, introducing potential customers and collaborators. Ryo emphasized the importance of having a mindset of being able to pivot any time for entrepreneurs, providing guidance on how to build mindset and execute.
