Appotronics was established in Shenzhen, China, in 2006 and is engaged in research, development, manufacturing, sales, and leasing of core components of laser displays. The company's products include laser light source projectors, automotive projection, AR optical modules, and projection solutions for the AIoT field. To develop new sales channels in the Japanese market, the company set up its Japanese subsidiary, APPOTRONICS JAPAN Co., Ltd., in Tokyo in March 2024.
To assist with the company's establishing its base, JETRO's Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) introduced service providers such as administrative scriveners, labor and social security attorneys, real estate agents, and banks, and helped find business partners.
