BLR WORLD, a British headquartered company providing human resource solutions, establishes a Japanese subsidiary

UK-headquartered BLR WORLD provides human resource strategies and solutions for sustainable growth for global clients in the cultural and creative sectors. In 2024, the company established a Japanese subsidiary, BLR JAPAN KK., in Tokyo in order to support their delivery of multiple contracts at the Osaka World Expo 2025.

The company provides human resource strategies and custom-made solutions for visitor experience projects, across both public and private sectors. Rather than simply providing recruitment services, it takes a comprehensive approach to human resources, including personnel administration, recruitment, training and employment engagement and wellbeing, bringing out the best in each individual to ensure the success of event projects and facility operations.

The company was incubated by Barker Langham, a leading global cultural consultancy, and is expanding its business operations to accommodate large-scale cultural events. For the Dubai Expo 2020, it provided more than 1000 staff for the operational functions and national pavilions, and in recent years it has delivered similar programs for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, 2023 Doha Expo and 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Japanese subsidiary, BLR JAPAN KK, has already launched talks with various parties aiming to participate in the Osaka World Expo 2025. The company also plans to expand its business in Japan after the Osaka Expo by continuing to provide human resource solutions to cultural and arts visitor experiences across the country.
