We are looking for people who resonate with and can promote the social implementation of the type of "calming" technology that we are promoting, along with people who can independently think of solutions that meet customer needs via flexible ideas.
We are looking for individuals who have a university degree in electrical/electronics or information sciences (such as computer science), along with knowledge and work experience as an electrical engineer or mechanical engineer, plus whose English language skills are at least business level. New hires do not need to be able to speak Japanese.
After joining the company, new hires will be assigned to a technical sales, research & development, or engineering position, depending on their aptitude. We currently employ one overseas employee at our headquarters and have several overseas employees in Europe with whom we have partnership agreements. All members of our management team have lived abroad and have experience doing business with local companies, so we have a good understanding of our overseas employees. We are looking for someone who can come to our head office in Kyoto, Japan, when needed.

We are a startup company from Kyoto, Japan that develops and proposes IoT devices and smart home systems. The "mui board" developed by our company is a wooden panel with a touch panel. In addition to being able to operate smart home appliances and smart speakers, it can also be used to write messages by hand, giving it a visually pleasing analog feel, and when not in use, it blends into their life as a wooden interior. This is our proposal to make use of the convenience of today's DX-oriented society, while at the same time not allowing time and space to be dominated by digital technology - and to spend enriching moments. This technology, which incorporates a touch panel display on natural materials, has been patented in the U.S., and patents are pending in other countries. In the future, we plan to license this patented technology and user experience, etc., which are attracting attention from overseas, and to expand overseas development by providing know-how for implementation in the products of consumer electronics and electronic device manufacturers in the U.S. and Europe.
In our Japanese domestic business, we have developed an application using the "mui board" and fused with lifestyle and energy management (HEMS, Demand Response), which is used as a customer management system for house builders, infrastructure providers, and rental companies.
