We are looking for engineers with at least three years of experience in the field of AI. We are an ideal place for those who have been developing their expertise at graduate school or at corporate research laboratories. We are recruiting for three roles. 1. AI engineer (image processing / computer vision, numerical system, NLP): Engineering experience in AI is required. Experience with either TensorFlow, Keras, Python, or Chainer frameworks, and experience with Python, or C++ is also required. Image processing AI requires expertise in image processing and computer vision. Numeric system AI requires expertise in numerical optimization, statistical analysis, and numerical forecasting. NLP AI requires expertise in natural language, text mining, and unstructured data analysis. 2. Systems engineer: Experience developing and operating systems in the cloud (GCP, AWS) and system backend development is required. Knowledge of MLOps, certifications in GCP and AWS cloud/server/network knowledge is also welcome. 3. Software engineer: Experience in front-end design and development of either React or Vue is required. UX design knowledge and back-end development experience (Python, Node.js) are welcome. For each of these roles, candidates need to be able to comprehend academic papers written in English. Japanese language proficiency is not required. We provide a fully remote and flexible work environment.

We are a startup AI company originating from a laboratory at Hokkaido University on a mission to apply AI research to practical use for the benefit of society.
We operate three businesses: AI research and business development, which develops solutions to address our clients' issues; intellectual property and licensing, which creates and sells licenses for the technologies and knowledge accumulated to date as well as products and other assets; and human resources development services, under which we offer seminars and workshops to connect highly skilled AI engineers with the companies that need them, while also training IT personnel to become AI engineers.
All of these businesses see requests from a wide range of industries and business categories, indicating the growing expectations and attention being placed on AI-based problem-solving.
In the future, we intend to increase needs in fields rooted in local communities, such as fishing and agriculture, which are industries native to Hokkaido, and to thus further contribute to regional revitalization.
