Guide Robotics Inc. was founded in December 2020 in Tokyo, Japan as an SRI International spin off. Our mission is to develop tools for optimizing industrial operations in logistics, construction, and security, using proprietary computer vision technology and autonomous robotics algorithms. Our first offering is a Visual SLAM based Indoor Positioning System for forklifts and autonomous robots using edge devices and a cloud based backend with APIs. This system can localize and visualize the trajectory of material handling assets in real time with cm level accuracy in GPS denied environments such as warehouses, helping logistics operators improve their productivity and safety for forklift operations. We provide services to logistics companies that operate large facilities and to general contractors or subcontractors that construct large facilities and factories for major manufacturers as end users. We are sequentially expanding our services in similar markets not only in Japan but also in other countries around the world.
