We are looking for talented engineers with good English proficiency to join our technical team in Japan. We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the technical lead or CTO to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.
You will establish configuration management, automate our infrastructure, implement continuous integration, and develop DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system.
As our operations grow, you will help us build scalable, efficient cloud-based infrastructure. You will work with the team to implement monitoring for automated system health checks.

Guide Robotics Inc. was founded in December 2020 in Tokyo, Japan as an SRI International spin off. Our mission is to develop tools for optimizing industrial operations in logistics, construction, and security, using proprietary computer vision technology and autonomous robotics algorithms. Our first offering is a Visual SLAM based Indoor Positioning System for forklifts and autonomous robots using edge devices and a cloud based backend with APIs. This system can localize and visualize the trajectory of material handling assets in real time with cm level accuracy in GPS denied environments such as warehouses, helping logistics operators improve their productivity and safety for forklift operations. We provide services to logistics companies that operate large facilities and to general contractors or subcontractors that construct large facilities and factories for major manufacturers as end users. We are sequentially expanding our services in similar markets not only in Japan but also in other countries around the world.
