Kodai Sangyo is a manufacturer of wooden household products that performs in-house product planning, development, design, to manufacturing and sales. In 2012, we began exporting our products overseas and have been mainly selling various cutting boards made from Japanese cypress wood to consumers in North America, Europe, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other countries around the world. It is our aim to develop environmentally-friendly products, and we obtained FSC's Chain of Custody certification in 2005. Hinoki cutting boards that we have exported are made from FSC-certified materials. Furthermore, we aim to base future products on the concept of zero-emission by creating cypress-based biomass plastic items using the wood shavings left behind from other manufacturing processes, as well as delving into new product categories such as distilled Japanese cypress deodorant sprays that are made from the steam discharged during the drying process for wood materials.
