    A.

    The images may not have loaded properly. Press the refresh button on your browser or access e-Venue site again and repeat the process from the beginning. If you are unable to view the page, please check the JETRO e-Venue Terms and Conditions at the URL below.

Login to e-Venue

    I forgot my login ID and password.

    A.

    1. Login ID is your registered e-mail address. Please reset your password if you forget the password.
      Following is the URL to start the steps.

    2. Please fill in your registered e-mail address, and click “Next”
    3. You will receive an e-mail at your registered e-mail address. The URL/link to reset password is provided in that e-mail, so click that URL/link and set a new password.
    PLEASE NOTE:
    Set the password with at least eight characters and make sure it contains three types of characters from the following character groups.
    Lowercase letters (a-z)
    Uppercase letters (A-Z)
    Numbers (0-9)
    Special characters and symbols (!@#$%^&*)

Registration/Correction/Search of User Information and Business Proposals

    Is there a time limit when entering/modifying user information or business proposal information?

    A.

    For security purposes, you will be automatically logged out if 120 minutes have passed since your last operation, and any operations that have not been completed will be cancelled.

User information

  • Q.

    Can I register for e-Venue as an individual if I have a selling or buying proposal?

    A.

    Since e-Venue is a B2B site, individual user on e-Venue means a registered/licensed sole proprietor. Individuals and students with no official business registration cannot become a member of e-Venue.

    How do I register as an e-Venue user?

    A.

    Please follow the instructions below to register for e-Venue. (This is the procedure for the users of non-Japanese corporations and sole proprietors.)

    1. Click the green button “Register” on the top page of e-Venue and "User Registration Other Than Japanese Company" on the next page to start the process.
    2. The page will move to the " JETRO e-Venue Terms and Conditions". After confirmation, tick the appropriate check boxes and click the [Confirm] button.
    3. You will be taken to the "User Registration" page, so enter the user information according to the input fields.
    4. If your "Business Form" is “Legal Entity”, continue to enter the Legal Entity information on the "User Registration" screen. If your " Business Form" is “Sole proprietor”, Legal Entity information page is not displayed.
    5. After you finish the User Registration, you will return to the e-Venue top page. Please login through the green [Login] button at the top right of the screen.
    6. Click [PIC information] from the top menu.
    7. Click your name on the list, and your PIC information is shown on the next page. Please confirm your PIC information again and correct it if needed. To edit the information, click a symbol of [pen] shape at the right end of the field that you want to correct OR click [Edit] button at the top right of the screen. After making necessary corrections, click [Save] button at the bottom.
    8. After confirming the contents, click the [Application] button at the top right of the screen and wait until your application is approved by JETRO.
    PLEASE NOTE:
    After the message (Request for approval has been completed. Please wait until the registration details have been approved.) is displayed, click [Next]. On the list of "PIC Information", confirm that the status is "Applying".
    If the Status is "Waiting for application", your PIC information has been saved but NOT been applied. Click your name with the "Waiting for application" status and click [Application] at the top right of the page.

    How do I update my user information?

    A.

    1. After logging in, click the menu tab "PIC Information".
    2. Select your name with the status of "Approved" from the list of your PIC information. Click [Edit] at the top right of the screen. Make the necessary corrections and click [Save] at the bottom. Click on the yellow highlight at the top of the screen, saying "When you modify the data, a modification data is created....".
    3. Click [Application] at the top right of the screen.

    How can I check my registered user information?

    A.

    1. Log in to e-Venue site.
    2. Click “PIC Information”.
    3. Click your NAME next to a status “Approved”.
      Then your registered information will be shown.

    How do I withdraw from my e-Venue membership?

    A.

    Except for Japanese companies, users can withdraw from membership online by following procedures.

    1. Click the user icon on the upper right of the screen.
    2. Click “withdrawal” from the displayed menu. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the withdrawal.
      If you represent a Japanese company, please contact the e-Venue Office (e-mail: e-venue@jetro.go.jp).

Business Proposals
1.Proposal Registration, Proposal Correction

  • Q.

    Is there a limit to the number of proposals I can register or post on the web?

    A.

    You can manage up to 20 proposals in your Proposal List after login. The number of proposals you can post on e-Venue site is up to 10.

  • Q.

    How do I upload my proposal?

    A.

    Please refer to the following steps to apply for a proposal for e-Venue. You simply need to complete the form, then add category settings and images to your proposal.

    1. After logging in, click [Proposal Registration for e-Venue] at the top page.
    2. Fill out the form for Temporarily Register Proposals and click [Next].
      Note: Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).
    3. After confirming the contents, click [Next].
    4. After the message (Note that this is a "Temporarily Registration". Apply for approval with necessary corrections after the temporarily registration.) is displayed, click [Next].
    5. On the next page with the red text on top (Please upload images and register classifications on this page....), click [Edit] at the top right of the screen, choose (1) Category from 1 to 3-1 and click [Save]. You can also add images on this page. Click on "Image Manage" next to "Detail" in the upper left of the screen.
      1. Add images: Upload files or drop files to add images.
      2. Delete images: Click the symbol ▼ on the far-right side of the "Image Management" list and select [Delete].
      3. Change the image order: Click the symbol ▼ on the far-right side of the "Image Management" list and select [Edit]. Change the order under "Sort by" and click [Save].
    6. Click [Application] at the top right of the screen and click [Next] to apply for your proposal.
    PLEASE NOTE:
    After the message (Request for approval has been completed. Please wait until the registration details have been approved.) is displayed, click [Next].
    On the list of "Registered Proposals", confirm that the proposal approval status of your proposal is "Applying".
    If the status is "Waiting for application", your proposal application has been saved but NOT been completed. Click the Proposal ID number with the "Waiting for application" status and click [Application] at the top right of the page.

    What is “Listed/Unlisted” of proposal registration?

    A.

    Listed: the proposal will be listed on e-Venue site
    Unlisted: the proposal will not be listed on e-Venue site

    How do I correct my proposal information?

    A.

    Please follow the steps below to update your proposal.

    1. Login to the e-Venue site.
    2. Click the menu tab "Proposals List".
    3. Click the symbol ▼ next to the "Recently Viewed" and select "Registered Proposals”.
      Then, a list of your registered proposals will be displayed.
    4. Click the "Proposal ID" with the "approved" status.
    5. Click “Edit” at the top right of the screen.
    6. Modify the proposal on the "Edit Form" screen and click “Save” at the bottom.
    7. Click on the yellow highlight at the top of the screen, saying "When you modify the data, a modification data is created....".
    8. Click “Application” at the upper right corner of the screen.

    How can I add or change images of my proposal on the web?

    A.

    Please refer to the following instructions to add your images.

    1. Login to the e-Venue site.
    2. Click on the menu tab "Proposals List".
    3. Click the symbol ▼ next to the "Recently Viewed" and select "Registered Proposals".
      Then, a list of your registered proposals will be displayed.
    4. Click the "Proposal ID" with the "Approved" status.
    5. Click [Edit] which is at the top right of the screen.
    6. Check the "Image change only (for registrants)" checkbox at the top of the "Edit Form" screen and click [Save] at the bottom of the screen.
    7. Click on the yellow highlight at the top of the screen, saying "When you modify the data, a modification data is created....".
    8. Click on "Image Manage" next to "Detail" in the upper left of the screen
      1. Add images: Upload files or drop files to add images.
      2. Delete images: Click the symbol ▼ on the far-right side of the "Image Management" list and select "Delete".
      3. Change the order in which images are displayed: Click the symbol ▼ on the far-right side of the "Image Management" list and select "Edit". Change the order under "Sort by" and click "Save".
    9. After modifying the images, click [Application] in the upper right corner of the screen. (Please apply for the proposal correction.).

2. Proposal Search

    I cannot find my proposals listed.

    A.

    Please refer to the following instructions.

    1. After logging in, click the menu tab "Proposals List".
    2. Click the symbol ▼ next to the "Recently Viewed" and select "Registered Proposals".
  • Q.

    How can I search my own proposal listed on e-Venue site?

    A.

    1. Log in to e-Venue site.
    2. Click " Search Proposals".
    3. There is "Search Filter" on upper left side, fill in search word in "Free word search", Remove the check mark ☑ in "New Proposal", and Click “Search”. In addition to Key word search, you can also search by “Desired Style of Exchange” or “Proposal Category” etc.

    On the “Search Proposals” menu, what is a “New Proposal” in the “Search Filter” field?

    A.

    “New Proposal” includes new proposals posted on the e-Venue within 10 days and existing proposals modified within 10 days.

  • Q.

    I tried "Free word search" in “Search Filter”, but only new proposals are shown.

    A.

    Please remove the check mark ☑ in "New Proposal" below the "Free word search" input frame.

  • Q.

    Is there a bookmark function for specific proposals?

    A.

    After logging in, open the proposal you want to add to your favorites. Click the symbol ▼ next to [Contact] at the top right of the screen, and then click [Save as bookmark] so that you can add the proposal to the "Favorite proposal list".

    To check your favorite proposal list, follow the instructions below.

    1. After logging in, click the menu tab "Proposals List".
    2. Click "Favorite proposal list" from the three menus "Proposal List", "Favorite proposal list", and "Recommended proposals list" on the upper left of the screen.
    3. Click the symbol ▼ next to the "Recently Viewed" and select "Favorite Proposals".
  • Q.

    Can I search proposal by proposal ID starting with “P”?

    A.

    You cannot search proposal by proposal ID starting with “P”. If you would like to see the same proposal again, please use “Favorite proposal list” function in below:

    1. Log in to e-Venue site.
    2. Click the proposal you are interested in.
    3. Click ▼ next to [Contact] button, and “Save as bookmark” will be shown, click it to register the proposal in your favorite proposal list

    To see your favorite proposal list:
    Click “Proposal list” tab on top page and click “Favorite Proposal List” tab.

    Where can I display a list of “Recommended Proposals”?

    A.

    Please follow the steps below to display the list.

    1. Login to the e-Venue site and click the menu tab “Proposals List”.
    2. There are 3 menus “Proposal List”, “Favorite proposal list” and “Recommended proposals list” on the upper left of the screen. Click “Recommended proposals list”.
    3. Click the symbol ▼ next to the "Recently Viewed" and select "Recommended Proposals”.

Contacts

  • Q.

    When I want to contact the person in charge of the proposal which I am interested in, can I send an e-mail?

    A.

    On the e-Venue, you communicate with the other user online through chat.

    Requesting contact by chat:

    1. Login to e-Venue.
    2. Select a proposal for which you wish to request a contact.
    3. Click the [Contact] button at the top right of proposal screen.
    4. Enter your message on the "Contact" window and click the [Next] button to send a message.
    PLEASE NOTE:
    When you make a contact request, a contact status is "Under application". Please wait for a notification via bell-icon or e-mail. If approved, its status changes to “In contact” and you can chat with a person in charge.

    Posting message by chat
    When the status is "In contact", you can chat with the other party.

    1. Login to e-Venue.
    2. Click the menu tab "Contacts".
    3. Click the symbol ▼ next to the "Recently Viewed" and select a list from "01.All Contacts”, “02.Contacts received” or “03.Contacts requested”.
    4. Click the "Manage Number" to open a "Contact Information / Proposal Information" page. You can click a title under “Proposal Name / Proposals for the Event” and names under “Contact Applicant” and “PIC” to display the proposal and user information.
    5. Enter your message in the "Share an update..." field and click the [Share] button. You can also enter your reply in the “Write a comment” field under the received message and click the [Comment] button.
    PLEASE NOTE:
    Please press the [F5] on your keyboard to refresh the screen if it does not display the "Share an update..." field even when its status is “In contact”. After you post your message, the other party will be notified via “Notifications” icon (bell icon) after login.

    When you get a contact request:
    You will be notified of it via an e-mail and “Notifications” icon (bell icon) at the upper right of top page after login.

    1. Login to e-Venue.
    2. Click a contact request on “Notifications” icon (bell icon) or URL on the e-mail to open a "Contact Information / Proposal Information" page. You can click a name under “Contact Applicant” to display the user information of contact person.
    3. For approving a contact request, click the [Approve] button at the top right of screen. The status changes to “In contact” and you can chat with a contact person.
    4. Enter your message in the "Share an update..." field and click the [Share] button.
    PLEASE NOTE:
    Please press the [F5] on your keyboard to refresh the screen if it does not display the "Share an update..." field even when its status is “In contact”.
    To reject a contact request, click the [Reject] button at the top right of screen. The status changes to "Rejected" and no further communication available. (The contact person will be notified of denial via e-mail and bell icon and a reason of denial will be displayed on the screen.)
  • Q.

    I am in the middle of a contact (chat), but I received an email/message asking me to evaluate the other party. What does that mean?

    A.

    That means you or the other user clicked [Close] on the upper right of the contact information (chat) page for some reason. Click [Evaluation] on the upper right of the contact information page to end the contact.

    PLEASE NOTE:
    Do not click [Close] while the contact is ongoing. If either of you accidentally click [Close], then both of you need to evaluate each other to finish the chat. You will be able to make a contact request for the same user after both parties complete the evaluation.

Others

  • Q.

    I have not received “Fresh Proposals News” which was set for delivery in previous service “TTPP(Trade Tie-up Promotion Program)”.

    A.

    e-Venue does not provide daily proposal news. Please check JETRO e-Venue site for fresh proposal information.

  • Q.

    Is there a similar function to the “Automatic Matching” of previous TTPP (Trade Tie-up Promotion Program)?

    A.

    e-Venue has a “Recommended Proposals” function. When a posted proposal meets your conditions ("Desired Style of Exchange (Primary)", "(1) Category 1 to 4*" and "(1) Target Country"), it will be shown as “Recommended Proposals” on the top page once you have logged in. When a new recommended proposal is posted on the e-Venue site, you will receive a notification by the Notifications icon (bell icon) on the upper right of the screen. If you wish to receive a notification by e-mail, please check the checkbox under “Receive emails for recommended projects” in the “Notification section” field of your PIC information.
    *When the (1) Category 1 to 3 are registered, the category “3” is used for matching.

Error messages and Solutions

When you inform us about error messages, please enter the following items to the inquiry form at the bottom of the FAQ and send it to e-Venue Office. We will examine the cause and provide you with possible solutions.

Items we would like to be notified

  2. Operation details (e.g., **** is displayed when I click **** button on the **** screen.)
  3. Do you have the same problem after clearing the cache or restarting the browser?
  4. Do you have the same problem after changing devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc.?
  5. The browser (such as Google Chrome) and OS (Such as Windows 10) you use and its version

    I cannot login via the User Login popup. I receive this message when trying to login:
    "Either the password is incorrect, or the specified login ID does not exist."

    A.

    Your e-Venue application may not have been completed, or the login ID/password you entered may be incorrect.

    1. If your user registration has not been completed:
      Please click the green button “Register” on the top page and "User Registration Other Than Japanese Company" on the next page to start user registration.

    2. If your login ID/password is incorrect:
      Your login ID is your registered email address. Please reset your password from the URL below.
      PasswordReset External site: a new window will open.
  • Q.

    I could not login and Error Message “Your account has been locked due to multiple failed login attempts. Please click here for unlock procedures” appeared.

    A.

    You will receive an e-mail “Your account is locked”.
    Please click URL in that e-mail to unlock.
    The URL to unlock is valid for 5 days from the date received.
    If the URL is expired, please reset your password.
    (How to reset your password)

    1. Following is the link to start the steps

    2. Please fill in your registered e-mail address, and click “Next”
    3. You will receive e-mail at your registered e-mail address. URL to reset password is provided in that e-mail, so click that URL and set new password.

    I could not login and Error Message “Login error has occurred. The following causes may apply.

    1. Have you already finished user registration for JETRO e-Venue?
    2. The error may have occurred because of the browser cache. Please close and restart your browser once, and then try to login JETRO e-Venue again.” appeared.

    If you have not applied yet, please apply for the e-Venue from the following link.

    If you have completed your application, please clear all the cache, close the browser, open it again and try logging in.
    If this does not solve the problem, please contact the e-Venue Office (e-mail: e-venue@jetro.go.jp).

  • Q.

    I received an e-mail notice of recommended proposals. When I click the link on the e-mail, the “Invalid Page” is shown, and I cannot browse the information.

    A.

    Please login after you click the link. It can be viewed only when logged in.
