Moneytree, a fintech company launched in Japan in 2012 in Japan by Australian CEO and co-founder, Paul Chapman. The Moneytree app enables people to manage financial assets in a single place, contributing to better management of their personal finances. In parallel, Moneytree LINK is a financial data platform for businesses. The Moneytree app took the title for Apple’s App Store “Best of” app award in both 2013 and 2014, beating both Instagram and Facebook.

Canva is one of Australia’s few unicorns, founded in 2012, and is already in 190 countries.

On 23 June 2020, Canva announced a new valuation of US$6 billion from US$3.2 billion, after having raised a US$60 million round. Canva's digital design platform is empowering a new wave of productivity and interaction for businesses, schools, and nonprofits across the globe. Canva is now expanding in the Japanese market.
