Last minute announcement: NET ZERO Leaders Summit (Japan Business Conference 2021 – online) Opening July 28, 2021

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) are pleased to announce the jointly organized “NET ZERO Leaders Summit (Japan Business Conference 2021)” to promote efforts toward green investment and realizing carbon neutrality by 2050. The online event will take place from Wednesday, July 28.

Mr. SASAKI Nobuhiko, Chairman and CEO of JETRO will present the opening remarks, Mr. SUGA Yoshide, Prime Minister of Japan will send a video message. The keynote speech will be given by KAJIYAMA Hiroshi, Minister of METI. The main program will be held for two days. There will be three panel discussions about Green Innovation, Sustainable Finance and Transition in Emerging Countries. The General Program as well as the "Japan Technology Showcase" of Japanese companies and local governments will be open until September 10, 2021.
