Bringing Japan's acclaimed food culture to Cambodia
Founded in 1987 in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, we operate two soba izakayas (buckwheat noodle restaurants) in the urban areas, using seasonal ingredients. We are currently preparing to open a Japanese restaurant in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as a new business venture. As starting members, we are looking for people to participate in the management and operation of the company from startup on site. We would like to invite university graduates, both domestic and international, who are interested in cooking and who have a keen interest in Japanese food and culture. After joining the company, new hires will learn business management and store operation at our retail outlets in Japan. After studying in Japan, new hires will be involved in the management of restaurant business in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. As for languages, Japanese (communication level) and English (business level) are desired. In addition, local staff can communicate in either Japanese or English, as they would be fluent in both languages. Whether applicants are interested in working in Japan or bringing Japanese culture back to their home countries to disseminate it, we welcome both kinds of applicants.
