We are a long-established textiles manufacturer in Japan, in business for over 130 years.
We plan to establish a local subsidiary in China and desire sales personnel who can eventually be entrusted with the management of a local subsidiary. We seek native Chinese speakers with Japanese language skills that allow grasping the detailed nuances of product specifications/features, with an ability to communicate such to local partners. At our company, sales personnel also develop products and are responsible for proposing and developing textiles in accordance with customer requests. In addition to sales positions, we also have engineering positions for loom maintenance and upgrades, along with production management positions (manufacturing, shipping, etc.). Thus, with us, people can work in a way that suits them best. Japanese skill at a daily communication level or higher is required for non-sales positions. Those fluent in English are also welcome.
Products are made via numerous processes, so all operations personnel must know the entire manufacturing process. After joining, new hires experience all departments and learn the flow of manufacturing for about three months. They are then assigned to a factory in one of the prefectures of Fukui, Yamagata, or Shiga. Katsuyama City, where the company's HQ is located, is famous for its dinosaur fossil excavation and is home to one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan, where visitors can enjoy rich nature and winter sports.

We are a textiles manufacturing company headquartered in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, Japan, and we have long flourished in the textile industry. We will celebrate our 133rd anniversary in 2023.
Our main customer is a major Japanese synthetic fiber manufacturer that mainly produces clothing fabrics. In the textiles industry, where the division of labor is the norm, our greatest strength is our ability to provide integrated services, from the processing of raw yarn to the design and development of weaving methods and manufacturing, in order to meet customer needs for clothing fabrics in terms of color production and comfort. About 60% of our sales are products for the domestic market, and we also have more than 60% of the market for domestic polyester fabrics for black formal wear. For overseas luxury brands, we manufacture luxury brand fabrics and export them to China, Europe, and the United States. We are also pursuing new possibilities every day in applications other than clothing, such as in the R&D of textiles using carbon fiber, in cooperation with universities and other organizations.
In the near future, we would like to establish a local subsidiary in China so as to further promote the appeal of our technical products to the world.
