Aiming to travel 100 kilometers in 30 minutes: Help us realize more-comfortable transportation.
We are developing the "eVTOL," which is an electric aircraft that can take off and land vertically anywhere you want, just like a helicopter or drone. Although the company is new, founded in 2018, it is the first Japanese company to obtain an eVTOL test flight permit from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Working at our company requires an engineer's knowledge and experience in areas such as network construction, communication system development, structural design, and aircraft assembly. Purchasing materials for research and participating in domestic and international tech events are recognized as part of the job. Japanese proficiency must be at N1 level, or N2 level with the goal of achieving N1. Regarding English, the ability to read scientific papers in English is a mandatory requirement. Overseas business trips are also part of the role, and we seek candidates who can adapt to that environment. At our company housing, we can also set up a dining environment (separate kitchen) in line with religious beliefs, such as the need for halal. At our company, engineers with various backgrounds work together and coexist with each other in a diverse corporate culture.

Our concept of "eVTOL," also known overseas as "urban air mobility," is to develop a truly valuable means of personal transportation that can help people in situations where mobility is difficult.
Our company president, who studied mechanical engineering, was interested in a means of getting around quickly, so he researched single-seater airplanes. Based on the philosophy that developing new means of transportation in response to individual demand is a way to contribute to society, teTra Aviation corp. was established in 2018 using an acronym for "technology for Transformation" ("teTra"). Based in Fukushima, the company conducts research and develops, manufactures, and sells new forms of aircraft.
At present, we are developing airplanes, but in the future these types of craft have unlimited potential to take on new shapes that we cannot imagine. We see this as a once-in-a-century opportunity to develop the market, and we are working every day to develop innovative means of transportation with the aim of realizing a society in which people can move freely in the air.
