The demand for Japanese tea, especially matcha, is increasing year by year worldwide. Our company's matcha is highly regarded in particular, and buyers come from all over the world to purchase our tea.

We make sure to visit our partner companies, and we actively participate in exhibitions in various countries. In addition to selling our products, directly listening to the voices of consumers helps us improve our products and motivate our employees.

In new applicants, we are looking for people that love Japanese tea and that want to learn more about it. Language skills are acceptable to the extent that new hires can communicate in both Japanese (JLPT N2 level) and English. Because many of the words related to tea are common to both Japanese and English, we give top priority to the desire to learn about the culture, history, and spirit of tea rather than language skills. Also, our company is fully integrated, from cultivation to processing and sales, so new hires can experience a full range of expertise, from growing tea leaves to commercialization and export, throughout the year. We are looking for people that are gutsy enough to want to be independent and to have their own tea shop in their own country in the future.

The president of our company is a fourth-generation tea wholesaler. Since the company's founding in 1989, our greatest strengths have been pesticide-free growing and organic fertilizer cultivation, along with fully integrated operations, from the cultivation of tea leaves to production, processing, and sales. As a result, we are able to develop products that accurately meet customer needs and that have earned the trust of our customers.

Among our own products, matcha green tea is particularly popular overseas and is sold in about 40 countries, mainly in Europe and the United States. We have received requests to do business in about 30 new countries, and we are looking to further expand overseas.

In October 2020, we obtained a patent for the production of our 100% naturally grown GABA Gyokuro. This product has a higher GABA content than conventional products and is already making waves in the market.

Since its establishment, our company has also installed solar panels to shade our tea fields. We are a sustainable company that not only generates revenue through power generation but that also promotes the automation of work as much as possible using the electricity we generate as a source of power.
