⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement :
A Hot Storage System
⒜ The system shall have object storage functionality that enables distributed data storage across multiple servers.
⒝ The system shall have the capability to encrypt and store data.
⒞ The system shall provide REST APIs that are compliant with Amazon S3 APIs for data transfer protocols.
⒟ The system shall be equipped with 500TB or more effective capacity.
⒠ The system shall have the functionality to manage with partition storage space into groups.
⒡ The system shall have the capability to configure access permissions, storage quotas and encryption methods for each group.
⒢ The system shall have the capability to retain access logs for data operations for at least 90 days.
B Cold Storage System
⒜ The system shall have the capability to encrypt and store data.
⒝ The system shall provide REST APIs that are compliant with Amazon S3 APIs for data transfer protocols.
⒞ The system shall be equipped with 200TB or more effective capacity.
⒟ The system shall have the capability to retain stored data for at least 10 years.
C Network System
⒜ The system shall connect both the hot storage system and the cold storage system and shall establish connections to the equipment comprising each of them at speed of 20Gbps or higher.
⒝ The system shall be capable of connecting to the campus network (KUINS network) with at least 4 connections at 10 Gbps each.
⒞ The system shall have the capability to load balance access to the hot storage system.
D Researcher Collaboration System
⒜ The system shall be able to connect to storage using REST APIs that are compliant with Amazon S3 APIs.
⒝ The system shall have the capability to save, delete, view, and download data using a Web browser.
⒞ The system shall have the capability for users to share specified data with other users.
⒟ The system shall be capable of managing accounts that can access it.
⒠ In addition to the system's authentication functionality, the system shall also support campus authentication system (SAML 2.0).
⒡ The system shall have the capability to retain access logs for data operations for at least 90 days.
⒢ The system shall operate on virtual machines running on the campus virtualization infrastructure (VMware vSphere 7, provided by VMware).
