Apr 09, 2014

The Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) is pleased to announce that the application process for the “Japanese Fiscal Year 2014 Subsidy Program for Projects Promoting Foreign Direct Investment, Site Location and Regional Development in Japan (Project of site location for global companies)” has now opened.

The Program is similar to a Japanese government program that was conducted in 2010*, where 23 companies were selected to receive subsidies, and will cover the initial site set-up costs for high-value-added sites (Regional Headquarters or R&D site) in Japan. This assistance, which is capped at ¥500 million, includes facility purchase/construction costs, equipment/equipment installation costs, facility leasing fees and other costs.

Applications close on the 2nd of June 2014, and there is an Application Guidance Seminar on April the 18th 2014.
