OVERVIEW

JETRO Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified and experienced Programme Coordinator to manage and oversee our JETRO Global Acceleration Hub programme. This tender is open to companies with a proven track record in the management, coordination and execution.


The “JETRO Global Acceleration Hub” project aims to support the overseas expansion of Japanese startups and to foster the startup ecosystem in Japan. These Global Acceleration Hubs are established in more than 25 world-leading startup ecosystems. They provide the latest information about their regions, and also support Japanese startups individually to expand on-site.

The following services are outsourced to the local accelerators or incubators that are rooted firmly in the ecosystem on-site so that the project will effectively be conducted.

 

SCOPE OF WORK 

  1. Coordinate local ecosystem briefing services
  2. Provide individual mentoring services
  3. Arrange business matching meetings
  4. Assisting JETRO in other startup related events

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. Must be able provide ALL of the services under Scope of Work listed above.
  2. NOT under the circumstances of being denied participation due to unethical and/or unlawful activities by either JETRO or Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) from previous procurement offerings.
  3. To be an established entity in Malaysia with representative staff members located within Malaysia.
  4. Must be able to be in agreement with JETRO's privacy policy.

 

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. A detailed company deck highlighting the services, key staff members, past acheivements of the applicant.
  2. A filled application document (Attachment 2)

    (Optional) References from previous clients (if available).

SUBMISSION PROCESS

All submissions must be sent to MAK@jetro.go.jp by the end of Friday, 25 April 2025.

Kindly include in your email header, "Application for JETRO Global Acceleration Hub Programme Coordinator"

Submissions should be done in English, and any beyond the deadline would not be considered.


EVALUATION CRITERIA

All proposals shall be subjected to the evaluation of JETRO Kuala Lumpur in accordance to Section 10. Screening Process of the Specification and Guideline (Attachment 1) document.


Upon successful submission of the documents, the applicant will be contacted for a follow-up interview by the team.


RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT

Tender will be announced to the winning applicant by email on Wednesday, 30 April 2025. Please note that given the nature of the bidding process, JETRO shall reserve the right to refrain from providing feedback on the results of the selection.
